Shoes for Orphan Souls – A Very Special Muskogee Rotary Gift
Muskogee Rotary will participate in Shoes for Orphan Souls again this year. This District 6110 project provides new shoes and socks to orphans and at-risk children in the U.S. and around the world. The goal our Shoes for Orphan Souls committee has set for this year is to provide one pair of shoes for every Muskogee Rotary Club member – 110 pairs.
The greatest need is for leather or canvas athletic shoes for young children and teenagers. If you prefer not to shop, give money and other Muskogee Rotarians will shop for you.
To reach the goal of 110 pairs of shoes by September 23, we need YOU.
See the District site for more info. And bring shoes, socks, shoelaces, or money to a club meeting within the next 4 weeks.

Join Muskogee Rotary at Muskogee Little Theater Aug. 5
Join us for Muskogee Little Theater’s production of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on Thursday, Aug. 5. Co-sponsored by Muskogee Rotary and MYPros, a social hour is planned from 6:30 – 730 p.m. to include drinks and appetizers. Admission is FREE! But space is limited, so please let us know if you are attending by registering for the event using the link below. Showtime begins at 7:30 p.m. The Tony Award winning musical is about the unlikeliest of heroes: a quirky, yet charming cast of outsiders for whom a spelling bee is the one place where they can stand out and fit in at the same time, and learn that winning isn’t everything and that losing doesn’t necessarily make you a loser. Can you spell H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S ?
