Also…Special Notice…This just in from District Headquarters

On Sunday, May 22nd, Joplin, Missouri was hit by a tornado and suffered massive destruction.

A relief fund has been set up for Rotary clubs or individuals wanting to make a contribution to the Joplin relief. Contributions will be handled by The Medical Supplies Network, Inc. (MSNI) out of Tulsa.

Checks should be made payable to MSNI Disaster Relief- Joplin and mailed to the following

And Then Special Notice Number 2

Medical Supplies Network, Inc. (MSNI) is prepared to receive non-perishables (i.e. canned goods and bottled water) to send to Joplin from Tulsa metro Rotary clubs and individual donations.

We would like to have these donations be made prior to Saturday of this week (May 29th). All contributions of non-perishables can be brought to Medical Supplies Network (MSNI), 1123 S. Erie, Tulsa, OK daily between the hours of 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon. If you need to come at another time, please call Larry Biron, Operations Director at (918) 639-1492-cell) to make arrangements to come at a time more convenient for you.

The bottom line here is to move quickly and get everything we can to Rotary Lunch Thursday where we
can then organize a way to get it up there ASAP.

District 6110 is currently hosting a Group Study Exchange (GSE) team from District 3010 in the New Delhi, India area. The team arrived at the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Sunday May 1st and were welcomed by Governor Wallace Williams, members of the Bella Vista Sunrise Rotary Club, and Bob Hawk. They will be traveling in the district during the month of May and will be visiting selected host clubs until their departure May 30.

Sam, Darrell, Wilbur, Dan, Larry and his grandson were responsible for gathering all the boxes to complete the container to be shipped. Jan Allen and Renee Fredrick were assigned to complete paperwork and make sure nothing was missed for the shipment to Belize.
